In one of POM's ridiculous experiments, pregnant mice were fed POM juice and their week-old babies were locked in a chamber with almost no oxygen for 45 minutes, causing severe brain damage; the babies were then killed so that experimenters could dissect their brains. In another experiment, rabbits were fed POM and their arteries were damaged to study the juice's effect on erectile dysfunction. All of this just so that POM can claim that its pomegranate juice has magical healing powers ...
